Welcome To The ReHearsal House Childhood Musical Blog. The ReHearsal House Childhood Musical Program began in 2008.
The Program's Goal is to Provide Applied Musical Education for Every Child. 


Applied Musical Education is the teaching of Music as a Performing Art.

In 2008, we began to develop musical education programs and curriculum for students who attended our Music School as well as explore the possibilities of Curriculum based Applied Musical programs for Kindergarten and Grade Schools (Primary and Secondary Schools).

Since 2004, we have been privileged to be involved with Educational Research Programs and various Educational projects for children, from Mathematics and the Sciences, to Drama, Games and Music.

Our current work is a product of on-the-job experiences throughout these years teaching both children and adults! All these have served to bringing about our present program structures, as well as various departments of our programs.

Presently, our curriculum based Musical Education program (Music Lessons), available for children of all ages, holds every Saturdays in Rehearsal House. 

The following options are available:

Morning Sessions:
 10:00am - 12:00pm

Afternoon Sessions:
12:30pm-2:30pm

Evening Sessions:
2:30pm-4:30pm

The Children Program is set into the following divisions:

(for 3 years old and below).

Musikgarten  (for 4 & 5 years old)

Grade School Musical Programs  (for pupils and students 6-16 years old).

The ReHearsal House Applied Music Curriculum for Children has been developed across respective Musical Instruments and progressively for respective Grades.

The RH Musical Education program and curriculum for Children is also available for private use (Home services) as well as for Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary Schools.

2021 SUMMER MUSICALS

The ReHearsal House Summer Music School Program for Children from 3 years and above. The SUMMER MUSICALS '21 from ReHearsal House Begins From August 2nd and runs to September 3rd. This Year's Coverage includes: Pre-Musikgarten Musikgarten Grade School Musical Foundationals Grade School Musical Beginners Grade School Musical Intermediates. Courses Listed for Coverage from the respective Listings Include: Piano Performance Drums Violin Guitars Bass Guitar Trumpet Saxophone Vocals Musical Directing Basics Course. Recording Artistry Basic Course. Music Production Basic Course. Courses Are Presented by our Professional In House Musical Educators and Taught from our Time tested Curriculum. Childhood Musicals 2024/2025 Program Session

So, let us first say, welcome to the ReHearsal House Childhood Musical Blog Once Again! And, of course, here we document our projects, our programs and program plans as it relates to the Childhood Musicals division of ReHearsal House Nigeria. In the 2024/2025 Applied Musical Program for Children, we continue the Traditional Upgrade of the Program Content. Program Continues in the RH Academy On-site Centres, Home Services Centres and the Virtual (Online) Sessions. Classes Kicks off from the 13th of January, and yes, Students and Pupils are expected to verify their current program Level- this includes- Program Level and Current Semester (See Profile); as well as Instrumental Majors and Minors; Elective, Core and Mandatory Courses (we have included recommendations).
